Harold Sanders Obituary

Harold L. Sanders of Bridgeport, CT entered eternal rest on April 6th, 2019. He was born on November 5th, 1961 in Allendale, SC to Windmon and Ethel Sanders of Norwalk, CT.

Harold graduated from Brien McMahon HS. Soon thereafter, he joined the United States Army and served for 6 years. He was retired from OMI of Norwalk, CT. He was also employed by B&S Carting in Stamford, CT as well as Arnold’s Bakery in Greenwich, CT. Harold loved crisscrossing the country as a Truck Driver. Harold was a member of William Moore Lodge #1533. Harold was a dancing machine. He enjoyed living his life to the fullest. He also enjoyed dressing the part.

Harold leaves to cherish his loving memory to his loving and caring wife, Cynthia; his son, Deshawn Sanders of North Carolina; his loving Parents, Windmon and Ethel Sanders of Norwalk, CT; two sisters, Pansy Sanders;  Gloria Campbell (Rev. Leroy); three brothers, Marvin Sanders (Tamara), Daryl Sanders, Windmon “Jr” Sanders IV (Frances) all of Norwalk, CT; 4 step sons, Johnny Laws of Bridgeport, CT, Jason Hall, Samuel Branch (China), both of Norwalk, CT; Michael Branch (Julie) of Florida; A brother from another mother, Marion Brown of Bridgeport, CT; three nieces, Timika Cineus (Karl); Adrienne Martin, Genesis Perez; three nephews, Marquise Sanders, DaRon Sanders, L J Sanders, all of Norwalk, CT; one great niece, Diamond Taylor; one great nephew, Kanaan Cineus; his in-laws, Grandmother in law, Ann “Nana” Lauther of New Haven, CT; Alan Hall of Norwalk, CT; Anthony Hall( Kathy) of Uncasville, CT; Adrienne Dickens (Billie) of Bridgeport, CT; and Stacy Hall; Niece Tiffany Hall of Norwalk, CT; Felicia Massey of Stamford, CT; His favorite Aunt, Mae Frances Taylor of Brooklyn, NY; Cousin Patricia Stevens of South Carolina. 

A Celebration of Life for Harold will be on Saturday, April 13th, 2019. Viewing will be from 10:00am - 11:00am; Service begins at 11:00am at the First Congregational Church of Norwalk, 3 Lewis St, Norwalk, CT 06851
