James J. Dipisa, lifelong Norwalk resident, passed away peacefully at Norwalk Hospital on January 7, 2023. He was born on January 9, 1931 to the late Rosario and Caroline (Scorsone) Dipisa.
After high school James went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army in Korea. He became a letter carrier for the postal service. He loved opera music and his family.
James is survived by his three brothers; Salvatore, Joseph and John Dipisa. Nieces and Nephews Scott(Arlene)McCoy, Don(Amy)McCoy, John McCoy, Linda Jendrick, Carolyn (Rob) White, Chris (Alice) Dipisa, Doug (Barb) Dipisa, Paul (Candis) Dipisa, Maria (Tony) Brady, David (Marcia) Dipisa, Patty (John) Coyle. As well as many great and great great nieces and nephews. He was pre deceased by his sister Josephine McCoy in 2012.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday January 19, 2023, 11:00 am at St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave. Norwalk, CT.
