John "Jack" P. Sheridan

     John P. “Jack” Sheridan, age 93 of Norwalk, died peacefully at the Smilow Cancer Center in New Haven on May 25, 2022.  He was the loving husband for 50 years of the late Alice “Pat” Cronin Sheridan.  John was born in Cohoes, NY on August 25, 1928, the son of the late John F. and Mary (Lahey) Sheridan.  He was a graduate of Ohio State University, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and worked for many years as a salesman for Blue Cross/Blue Shield.  John loved to ski and travel with Pat and also enjoyed stamp and coin collecting.

     Survivors include a sister Barbara Mitchell and many nieces and nephews.  John was also predeceased by his siblings Patricia Silber, William Sheridan and Elizabeth Sheridan.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 2, 11 AM at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Rd., Norwalk. Burial with full military honors will follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk
