Joseph Lynch Obituary

Joseph Aloysius Lynch, 89 died Sunday, July 1, 2018 following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Frances H. (Miller) Lynch. Born in Boston, the son of the late Aloysius and Hattie (Kirby) Lynch and brother to Harriet, Rita, Patricia, James, Carol and John. He attended St. Gregory School, Boston English High School and Boston College. He had been a Norwalk resident for 58 years.

He was the owner of Birdseye Printing for 30 years. Joseph was an avid boater, was a past commodore at Shore & Country Club where he was a member for many years. He loved to fish, he enjoyed taking friends and family for boat rides.

He was a US Army veteran. He is survived by his four children, Joseph A. Lynch, Jr., Kathleen Kwiatkowski (Edward), Rosemary Harrigan (Patrick), and Daniel Lynch; and 4 grandchildren: Brendan (Suzie) Kwiatkowski, Stephanie Kwiatkowski, Kaitlin Harrigan, Kelsey Harrigan; sister Carol Byrne and brother John Lynch.

His family will receive friends and family at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk on Thursday, July 5 ,2018 from 4 to 7 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave, Norwalk, CT 06854 on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 10:30 AM. Burial will be private.
