Josephine Ann Maestro Obituary

Josephine Ann "JoAnn" Maestro, 77, died on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021 at her home in Danbury. Born in Norwalk, the daughter of the late Stephen and Josephine (Krysiuk) Shimko, she was the loving wife of Arthur P. Maestro for 59 years. Retired from Risdon Cosmetics, she enjoyed motorcycle riding, cruises, casino trips and outings with friends and family.

Predeceased by her sister Clara Swiderski, and brother Steve Shimko, JoAnn is survived by their children, Sherry Ann Maestro and Tracy Ortiz, 3 cherished grandchildren; Danny, Shayla and Marissa, and great grandson Marcellus.

Her family will receive friends on Thursday, Nov 4, from 5 - 8 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10 AM on Friday, Nov 5, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.
