Kathleen Dillon Obituary

Kathleen “Kathy” Elizabeth Dillon was an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world too soon on May 4, 2023.

She was born to Alice and Robert McNally on December 11, 1956. She spent her career caring for the tiniest babies and holding the hands of new parents as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse. In 1979, she married her husband of 43 years, Kevin Arthur Dillon. Together they had three daughters, Christine Elizabeth, Courtney Marie, and Kathrine Bridget.

People always talked about Kathy’s kindness and compassion for others. She always thought of others before herself and went to great lengths to ensure her friends and family knew they were loved. She enjoyed the quiet beauty of a Florida sunset and the thrilling adventure of true crime shows. She will be forever remembered and forever loved.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Kevin; three daughters, Christine, Courtney, and Kathrine; three sons-in-law, John, David, and James; eight grandchildren, Kevin, Claire, Jack, Bradyn, Owen, Addison, Luke, and Timothy; her siblings, Robert, Thomas, Richard, Howard, Patricia, Andrew, Tom, Jeffrey, Tricia, and Susan; and her beloved yorkie, Winston.

Calling hours will be from 3-7pm on May 12th at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10 am on May 13th at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 229 Danbury Road, Wilton, Connecticut. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Project Sweet Peas, a charity supporting infants and families in the NICU.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
