Kenneth "Kenny" Andrew Alfano

     Kenneth “Kenny” Andrew Alfano, age 64 of Greenwich, died on Sunday, April 14 at Greenwich Hospital.  He was the loving husband of Amelita Espejo Alfano.  Kenny was born in Stamford on July 26, 1954, the son of Gloria Fournier Alfano and the late Andrew Thomas Alfano.  He was a graduate of Stamford Catholic High School where he starred on the baseball team.  Kenny was a carpet and floor installer for Executive Carpet.  He and Amelita were very involved with the Word Alive Bible Church in Norwalk, and he enjoyed fishing and played baseball for many years.  If not for a bum shoulder he was considered likely to play professional ball.

     In addition to his loving wife Amelita and his mom, Kenny is survived by his children Steven, Joseph, Gregory, Kenny, Jr. and Christina Alfano, his brother Thomas Alfano, his sister Andrea Brundage, grandchildren Cecelia, Gracie, Helen, beloved niece Lili and nephews Matthew and Michael.

     Services will be held on Monday, April 22, 7 PM at Word Alive Bible Church, 536 West Ave., Norwalk.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the church.
