Kieran John O'Hara Sr. was born in Long Island, NY on July 4, 1938 to Grace Kovacs O'Hara and Kieran James O'Hara. He attended Norwalk schools, he began his career as a plumbing apprentice working for his Uncle John Pryzibiski. Kieran enlisted in the US Navy in 1956. He proudly served aboard the USS Leyte, and the USS Independence from which he received an honorable discharge.

After his discharge, he resumed his plumbing career, he was self employed for many years and a member of Plumbers Local 777.

He is survived by three sons. Keith (Nancy), Kenneth (Allyson), Kieran (Daryl). eight grandchildren, Ellen (James),Keith Jr .Christopher, Heather, Gabrielle ,Michael, Kathryn, Margaret O'Hara and one great grandchild Madison Palmer, and his former wife, Barbara Bussiere.

Funeral services will be held privately.
