Laurie Burke Obituary

Laurie Burke, 83, beloved wife of Thomas Burke, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2023 in Norwalk. She was born in Greenwich, CT on May 8, 1940 to the late William and Alta (Benson) Parnell.

Laurie loved her grandchildren, beagles, travelling, and motorcycles.

In addition to her husband, Laurie is survived by her two sons; Owen and Shawn O’Connor, her brother Fred Parnell, sister Alice Timmerman, nieces Tina, Mindy, Sarah and Anne-Marie, nephew, David and grandniece Juli and grandnephews Justin and Wyatt. She also leaves behind four grandchildren; Amanda, Casey, Krystal and Hunter and one great grandson; Carter. She was preceded in death by her brother William B. Parnell II.

Services for Laurie will be held privately.
