Lawrence Irving

Lawrence Irving, 78, of Hamden, died on November 30, 2022 at Whitney Manor in Hamden.  Born in Port Chester, NY, the son of Emerson and Elizabeth (Meyer) Irving, he was also predeceased by his brother William and sister Barbara.  He was a writer, and enjoyed fishing, reading and watching movies.

He is survived by his sister Nancy Franke and her husband Peter, niece Lindsay Franke and her fiancée Jim, nephew Emerson Franke and his fiancé Mallory, and great-nephew and niece, Landon and Penelope, as well as other loving relatives and friends.

His family will receive friends on Monday, Dec. 5, from 11-12, with a prayer service to begin at noon, at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk, CT. Burial to follow at St. John’s Cemetery 223 Richards Ave. Norwalk.
