Lorraine B. Tesauro

Lorraine B. Tesauro, 88, of Norwalk, Connecticut, wife of the late Dominic J. Tesauro, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020.  Lorraine leaves behind her children and their spouses,  Sharon (Art) Falcone, Glen (Roselyn) Tesauro, and Patty Ruggiero.  She proudly boasted of her 8 grandchildren and their spouses Matthew (Jordan), Jon (Megan), James, Catie, Andrew (Katie), Jason (Michele), Michael (Nicole), and Taylor (Andrew).  But the apple of her sparkling blue eyes were her 10 great grandchildren Nathan, Jack, Christian, Isabella, Cole, Sloane, Quinn, Dominic, Evie, and Shane.  Lorraine will also be missed by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Marilyn (Alson), Carole (Henry "Chick"), Elaine (Richie). She also leaves behind her "special sister", sister-in-law, Anne Mantia.   She was predeceased by her brother Albert (Skip).
Lorraine was a loving, caring person with a sassy personality.  Everyone turned to this strong woman in times of need.  She always provided sound advice, putting others' needs before her own.  Lorraine was an amazing baker who always had magic squares or chocolate chip cookies ready for her grandkids' visits.  She and her "Hon", Dom, enjoyed traveling with friends, vacationing to Misquamicut Beach each summer with the family, going to the casino ("She never met a slot machine she didn't like!"), playing Pinochle on "Cod and Card Friday", shopping at Shop Rite and Kohl's, and catching up with family and friends by phone weekly, if not daily.
Although many hearts are broken by her passing, there is comfort knowing that she is once again, being embraced by the love of her life, her "Joe".

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Notre Dame Convalescent Home 76 West Rocks Road payable to The Sisters of St. Thomas of Villanova.
