Lorraine Ann (Silva) Tirella

Lorraine Ann (Silva) Tirella, age 58 of Oxford, CT wife of the late Ralph C. “Big Ralph” Tirella Jr, peacefully passed away at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport, on November 17th, 2022.  Born in Norwalk in 1964 and is the daughter of James and Sharon (Grimshaw) Silva.

She worked as an executive assistance within the propane industry with her late husband at their own propane company, Phoenix Propane of Oxford, CT until they ultimately sold it in December 2019. She was a beloved member of her church, Calvary in Southbury, CT, where she avidly attended various church gatherings making countless friends along the way. She loved relaxing on the beach, enjoyed collecting seashells, proudly led others in arts and crafts projects, and most importantly, spending time with her grandson, Philip.

Lorraine leaves behind three children, Ralph Tirella III, Jennifer Tirella, and Kevin Tirella, and her only cherished grandchild Philip Tirella all of which reside in Oxford, CT, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition, she left behind her loving mother Sharon Silva of Deerfield Beach, FL, her brother, Michael Silva of Deerfield Beach, FL, and her brother Patrick (Jennifer) Silva of Ballston Lake, NY.

A graveside ceremony be held at St. John’s Cemetery in Norwalk, CT on Saturday, Nov 26th, at 10:30 AM.
