Marie Hollant Obituary

Marie Odile Hollant, 75, of Norwalk, died on July 31 at Cassena Care of Norwalk. Born in Haiti, the daughter of August and Aniece (Popotte) Michel, she was also raised by her step-mother Fifie Michel. She loved life and loved sharing it with family and friends. In past years, she had worked as a teacher, before focusing on home life. She was predeceased by her husband Maxime Hollant, and two sisters, Mirmonde Dufresne and Marie Carmel Alexandre.

In addition to her son Stanley Etienne of Norwalk, brother Max A. Michel and sisters Herlise Michel, Marie-Carmel Derosena of Houston TX, and Magali Armand of FLA, as well as numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
