Marta M. Campos

Marta M Campos, 72, passed away on March 3rd, 2023 after pouring an immeasurable dose of smiles, laughter and love into this world.

The world became a better place on April 6, 1950 when Marta was born in San Jose, Costa Rica to parents Gonzalo and Maria Teresa Arana Orono.  She was the eldest sister of 10 siblings. 

Marta devoted her life to her children, grandchildren, family and friends.  For her, there was no greater priority than nurturing and caring for all of the people around her. She was the life of the party and loved to sing and dance.  She was also the most compassionate shoulder to cry on, everyone that knew her turned to her for advice and support.  She was our family's Mother, our children's Meña & Mima, and our community's Tía.

Marta is survived by her children Jennifer, Danny and Andres, along with nine beautiful grandchildren, two amazing great grandchildren, a loving family of sisters, brothers, nieces & nephews and a community of friends that love and cherish her.


Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 7, from 10-12 at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk, with a prayer service to begin at 11:40 AM.  Burial will be held privately.
