Mary (Leone) Zeidler-Bogdany

     Mary Leone Zeidler Bogdany was born in Norwalk on May 16, 1936 to Margaret and Peter Leone.  She was such a special loving person who loved life, her family and her many friends.  She enjoyed bowling, cards, parties, going to the casino, holidays, singing and dancing and having a good time.  She was the life of the party.  Mary worked at Rex Marine and C.R. Gibson and was a longtime volunteer at the Norwalk Senior Center.  She loved the St. Ann’s Feast, especially the pizza frittes, and the Oyster Festival.

     Her loving family includes her son Donald and his wife Jacqueline Zeidler, her daughter Lorraine and her husband Steve Weisheit, her brother Peter Leone and Gen Masi, her sister Agnes Leone Horton, grandchildren Kyle and wife Laura Zeidler, Mallory, Hayley and Travis Zeidler, her dear friends Vida Carford and Laura Sandstrom, and many cousins.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 1, 10 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.  Mary’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Friday from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to Notre Dame Convalescent Home and the Norwalk Senior Center.
