Melissa Leigh Dampf

March 21, 1980 ~ November 19, 2020 (age 40)

Melissa Leigh Dampf a treasured daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin & friend passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2020 at the age of 40.

“Sunshine” to her Dad was born March 21, 1980 in Bridgeport, CT to Frank and Sherre (Stubna) Dampf.

Melissa was a funny, loving and compassionate person, she had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul.

She loved volunteering for the animal rescue in Stamford & to foster dogs in her home, along with her beloved companion dog Lucy.

A lover of parties, music, concerts, she had an affinity for 70s Rock n Roll and had amassed a

collection from that era.

Missy is remembered as an All-state basketball star at Masuk High School where her banner is permanently displayed in the school gym.

She was a graduate of Sacred Heart University earning her degree in finance  & her series 6 license while working full time.  She worked for several banks and financial institutions in her career.

Most recently she was employed as an executive assistant to a nationally known attorney in NYC.

Melissa was loved by all who met her, she made friends easily and they remained lifelong  friends.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Melissa is survived by her parents, Frank and Sherre, stepdad Mark, her brothers Nathan and Justin, nephews Lance, Graham & Jay T, niece Natalie, favorite godmother Lynne, her many beloved Uncles & Aunts, & a gazillion cousins.

Please remember the good memories you have of Missy, and the joy that she brought into our lives.

At a later date, when we can all gather again, we will get together to celebrate her life both in Connecticut & Pittsburgh, PA.

You can still show your support by sending flowers directly to the family, or by planting a memorial tree in the memory of Melissa Leigh Dampf
