Pamela Barati Obituary

Pamela A. Barati, age 61 of Shelton, died suddenly at the Norwalk Hospital on March 17, 2021. She was the loving daughter of the late Stephen P. and Helen (Festa) Barati. Pam attended Norwalk schools and was a graduate of UCONN. She has worked as associate customer service representative for Perkin Elmer and was very involved with animal rescue organizations in the area. Pam was very kind-hearted and generous. She had a knack for craft making and loved to share her creations with her family and friends. Pam is survived by her sister Anne Barati, her husband John Rankin and their children Ted and Eli.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Pam and her mother Helen will be celebrated on Thursday, March 25 at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave. Norwalk, and is by invitation. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Masks and social distancing will be required as well as registering at church upon arrival. Donations in Pam’s memory may be made to a local animal rescue organization.
