Patricia "Patty" Arena

Patricia “ Patty” Arena , 72 of Norwalk, beloved Partner of the late John Daly, died peacefully at home surrounded by her nieces Deborah and Gail Mills and her caretaker for many years Georgia Pennet. She is the daughter of the late Dominick and Veronica(Miss) Arena and also predeceased by her sister Jeannette Mills and brothers Anthony and Thomas Arena.

Patty, gave of her time by helping out at St.Mary’s church in Norwalk and St. Thomas in Fairfield. She was also involved in activities , where she resided for the past 20 years, Schoolhouse Apartments,New Canaan ct. serving as a Sunshine girl bringing happiness and birthday love to the residents as they celebrated their birthdays.

In 1963, “Patty went to visit her Uncle Ralph and Aunt Bernice “Arena” for the Thanksgiving weekend, well she stayed for 10 years! Becoming a sister to Ralph Jr, Sean, and Tami Arena, and becoming one of Bernice’s best friends.

Patty, was always involved in her nieces and nephews activities, she loved being around them, and of course the many family holidays and the best was Patty, Jeannette and Bernice in their travels up and down New England  looking for new Diners.They also always enjoyed their visits to Pennsylvania Dutch country.

She is survived by her Brothers, Edward Arena of Danbury, James ( Agnes) Arena of West Haven.
Her cherished nieces and nephews, and great and great great nieces and nephews.

Services will be Wednesday January 5, 2022 at 10:00 am at St Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post road Fairfield, CT. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, 223 Richards ave. Norwalk, CT. Flowers may be sent directly to St. Thomas Church in Fairfield.
