Obituary

Paula A. Ticar, 74, a lifelong resident of Norwalk, died on September 19, 2022, in Norwalk. Born in Norwalk, the daughter of the late Frank M. and Anna (Kozar) Ticar, she was also predeceased by her brothers Frank M. Jr and Martin Ticar and nephew Jeffrey Ticar. 

She worked as an accountant with the Internal Revenue Service, at several institutions, including Cummings and Lockwood. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading, volunteering with dog and cat rescue groups, and knitting and crocheting. She also loved spending time with family, friends, and animals. 

Paula is survived by three nephews, Martin Ticar Jr. and his wife Lynn, Mark Ticar and his wife Kim, Scott Ticar and his girlfriend Rory Gagan, and great-nephew Evan Ticar as well as several cousins.

Her family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk, CT, on Wed, September 28, from 10-11 AM, with a prayer service beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
