Richard Cielesz Obituary

Richard Eric Cielesz, age 49 of Norwalk, died suddenly at his home on October 3, 2021. He was born in Norwalk on June 4, 1972 to his loving parents Henry and Wyladyslawa Cielesz of

Norwalk. Richard attended Norwalk schools and was a graduate of UCONN. He loved history, antiques, politics, reading, stock trading and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents Richard is survived by his sisters, Barbara Spagnuolo (Ron) and Maryann Cielesz, nephews Gavin and Lucas, nieces Austin and Isabella, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 7, 10:30 AM at St. Philip Church, 1 Fr. Conlon Pl., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery. Richard’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Wednesday from 4-7 PM.
