Sarah Salvino Obituary

Sarah A. Salvino, 98, formerly of Bethel, CT died on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in Newtown. Born in Norwalk, the daughter of the late Thomas and Concetta Canale, she was the wife of the late Dominick J. Salvino.

Sarah was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting and above all being with her family.

She is survived by her son and daughter; Dominick Salvino, Jr. and his wife Roseaimy, and Donna Walsh and her late husband Patrick, four cherished grandchildren, Jenna Saxton and her husband David, Shannon Walsh, Camryn Walsh and Anthony Salvino, and great-grandson Thomas Patrick Saxton, as well as her sister Anna Matro, and was predeceased by siblings, Jenny Fiore, Joseph Canale, Samuel Canale and Salvatore Canale.

Her funeral Mass will be held at 11AM on Friday, January 29, at St. Joseph Church, 85 S. Main Street, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk. (Due to Covid restrictions, masks and social distancing required.)
