Stephen Shimko Obituary

Stephen Shimko, 83, of Norwalk, died on February 12, 2021 at his home in Norwalk. Born in Norwalk, the son of the late Stephen and Josephine (Krysiuk) Shimko, he was also predeceased by his sister Clara Swiderski. A masonry contractor by trade, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his son Stephen Shimko, sister Joanne Maestro, and sister-in-law Katherine Deamer, nieces, Chrissy, Sherrie and Tracy, as well as other loving relatives.

His family will receive friends on Wed, Feb 17, from 7-9 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk (limited to 25 people at a time). His Funeral Mass will be held at 10AM on Thurs. at St. Joseph Church, 85 South Main St, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery. (Due to Covid restrictions, masks & social distancing are required)
