Obituary

Theodore “Ted” Storb, 91, loving husband of Jeanne (Hillegass) Storb, died on Friday, September 8, 2023 at their home in Rowayton, CT.  Born in Lancaster, PA, the son of the late George Theodore and Kathryn (Lutz) Storb, and brother to Molly (Storb) Hartzell.

He served on an aircraft carrier in the US Navy during the Korean war. Then was a successful advertising executive on Madison Avenue in NYC until his retirement. His career took him all over the globe meeting many fascinating stars of film and music.

In his retirement, he and his wife enjoyed an antique business for over 20 years.

Ted enjoyed film and music his entire life. He led a youth group in his neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights in the sixties, and was well liked and respected by the youth in the neighborhood where he raised his children.

He is survived by his wife Jeanne, his three children, Christopher R. Storb, Susan Storb Cummings, Kathryn Storb Callahan, and four step-children, Ellen Deluca, Peter Deluca , Elisabeth Deluca and Lauren Laughlin, and a combined family of 15 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

He had a long, wonderful life and was well loved by family and friends.

He was laid to rest in his current community of Rowayton, CT, at Union Cemetery in a private service, with only family in attendance, per his wishes.
