Theresa S. Lombardo

Theresa "Gigi" Lombardo, 96, beloved wife of the late Peter J. Lombardo, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2022. She was born in the Bronx, NY on February 25, 1926, to the late Vincenzo and Enrichetta Sabella.

In her younger years, she was employed at SNET as a switchboard operator and later served as a customer service representative. She loved watching FOX news, a total political aficionado. She was aware of every current event, and enjoyed talking about it, even up until the end. Terry also wouldn't miss an episode of Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy. If you called her during that time, she would quickly rush you off the phone and call back later.

She took tennis lessons in her 60's, and would whack the ball over the fence, showed her strength!

When she became a great-grandmother, she loved spending time with the kids. She would go to the beach, aquarium and get togethers just to be with them. These were truly the moments she adored.

She is survived by her four children, Leslie Lake, Lenore Bjorlin (Roy), Peter Lombardo (Maria) and her daughter Lisa (Jay) Magner. In addition, she leaves behind 10 beloved grandchildren and 15 cherished great-grandchildren.

There will be a funeral mass on Saturday November 19, 2022 10:00 am at St. Jerome's Church 23 Half Mile Rd. Norwalk, followed by a burial at St. Johns Cemetery 223 Richards Ave. Norwalk.
