Thomas Paul Miller

Thomas Paul Miller, 32, loving husband of Kimberly (Fusci) Miller and devoted father of Brooklyn Miller, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 2, 2023. Born in Norwalk, he was the son of Thomas J. Miller and Bonnie Torpey Shank. He was predeceased by grandparents Paul R. Torpey, Lillian and Frederick Miller as well as his beloved Uncle James “Jimmy” Stabell.  

Tommy was a graduate of Norwalk High school and continued on to become a graduate of the University of New Haven Hospitality Program. He found his love for culinary through his first jobs in the restaurant industry, which led him to his career as Food Service Senior Manager at Stepping Stones Museum for Children. His professional culinary experience was further expanded with catering for One Bro Pizza Co., Mike’s Deli and Knot Norms. 

He is remembered for his love for the New York Jets, Brooklyn Nets and New York Yankees. Also, his favorite pastime was playing golf with his buddies. Tommy was a part of the Norwalk softball league where he played on many teams over the years and many other sports recreational leagues. He rejoins his childhood buddy and furry feline companion, Damien, who always made his heart feel better.

In addition to his wife Kimberly, Tommy is survived by their daughter Brooklyn Miller, his father Thomas Miller and his wife Karen Miller, his mother, Bonnie Shank and her husband Steve Shank, sister Amanda Miller, his mother and father-in-law Fred and Norma Fusci, sister-in-law Jen Fusci her wife, Amanda Fusci as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

His family will receive friends on Sunday, September 10, 2023, from 2:00pm-6:00 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06850.  (Tommy would love it if you wear his favorite color: kelly green).  Burial will be held privately. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 beginning at 6:00pm at The Eagles Club, 6 Mott Avenue Norwalk, CT 06850.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a Scholarship Fund that will be arranged for Brooklyn.
