Tibor Szabo Obituary

Tibor Szabo, 86, of Norwalk, died on February 1, 2021 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Hungary, he was the husband of Sari (Dencsak) Szabo for 59 years. He worked as a butcher for over 37 years, most recently for Stop & Shop. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his wife Sari, he is survived by their children, Ted Szabo and his wife Kristen, and Suzanne Antao, four loving grandchildren, Christopher, Lexi, Justin and Krystal, as well as his brother John Szabo and his wife Lillian, and 2 nephews, John and Jimmy.

Graveside services will be held at 11AM on Thursday, Feb 4, at Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity for pets or a charity of one’s choice.
