Obituary
Vincent Anthony Massaro, 74 of Norwalk passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 10, 2023 surrounded by his family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Norwalk on June 1, 1949, the son of the late Anthony T. Massaro and survived by his mother Mary (Guaglione) Massaro, both of Norwalk, CT. Vinny graduated from Brien McMahon High School in 1968 where he met his future wife, Linda. He was the proud owner of Massaro Tile for over 45 years.
Vinny had a captivating love for classic cars with his own private collection of his 1965 GTO and SS Chevelle. He enjoyed cruise nights down at the beach and car shows, listening to live music and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his ex-wife Linda (Lobuglio) Massaro, their children, Michael Vincent Massaro and Stacy Linda Massaro both of Norwalk. His granddaughter Marina Massaro of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, as well as his sister Patrice (Massaro) Morley and her husband William and his niece Karen Morley and her wife Romania all from Norwalk. Along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Vinny was loved by everyone who’s lives he touched and he will be missed dearly.
A celebration of life mass will be held on Saturday August 26, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas The Apostle Church on 203 East Ave, Norwalk CT 06850.
