Vincent Torcasio, age 77 of Milford, died suddenly at Milford Hospital on December 31, 2021. Born in Nicastro, Italy on March 1, 1944, he was the son of the late Antonio and Pasqualina Torcasio. Vincent attended Norwalk schools and was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the U.S. Army. He worked at Pepperidge Farms and more recently was a cook at Sbarro Pizza.
Vincent is survived by His son Albert Torcasio, daughter Gisella Torcasio, step-son Giancarlo Zipper, his grandson Luciano, who called him Pappi Bookstore for giving him a love for reading, brothers John (Vittoria), Angelo, and Francesco (Murielle) Torcasio, his former wife Irene Grillo Torcasio, and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 7, 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 669 West Ave., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery. Vincent’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk, on Thursday from 5-8 p.m.
