William Allen Obituary

William Jeffrey Allen, age 55 of Bridgeport and former longtime Norwalk resident, died peacefully at his home after a lengthy illness on Friday, March 27. Bill was born in Norwalk on February 8, 1965, the son of William Donald and Marie Helen (Hornyak) Allen and brother of Terese “Terrie” Allen. He went to Central Catholic and Brien McMahon High Schools and worked for many years in the construction business. He also served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Bill enjoyed collecting war and sports memorabilia. He was a fan of the New York Mets, Rangers and Giants and enjoyed hunting. Bill was a very warm and loving man who loved to be with his friends and family. He will be dearly missed.
Due to the current pandemic and new regulations, any public services will be held when allowed and announced to the public at a later date.
