Bill Rothschild, Author and Consultant, Dies at 86.
Born November 28, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY, William Edward Rothschild passed away on August 7 in his Norwalk, CT home.
Bill will be remembered by family and friends, colleagues and students around the world for many things.
A Fordham University graduate (Class President, ‘55). Bill founded the now 62-years-strong Fordham Club.
A career focused on helping organizations integrate leadership with the key and most important resource people; with 30 years at General Electric including guiding GE’s Leadership Development Center at Crotonville NY and rising to top GE strategist, then as CEO of Rothschild Strategies Unlimited.
An author of six books on strategic leadership translated into dozens of languages.
An Adjunct Professor, lecturer at Harvard and Columbia, and leader of business strategy programs in the U.S., China, Japan, Mexico and more.
Driving all his accomplishment, and his greatest success, Bill Rothschild loved and was loved by his family. Married 63 years to the love of his life, Alma Rothschild. Proud father of four children Robert, Stephen, Karen and William. Devoted grandfather to Robert (predeceased), Timothy, Lilly, Jack, Sabrina, Katie, Naomi, Aimee, Will, Adison and Jaydin.
