Linda, Jamie, and Richard, in the entire Chetta family: I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Alice was truly a wonderful woman, & I feel blessed to have known her. She always made me feel so welcome in her home. And no matter how many years went by when you stepped through her door, it was as though you never left. She had such a warm welcoming heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her loved ones. She was was a loving,caring, and devoted wife, mother and grandma and her family has always come first in her life. She will always be appreciated for her love of cooking. She has touched so many people hearts ( and stomach) and people are still talking about her eggplant parmigiana and sausage and peppers where customers would come from miles just to get a nice sandwich make with love from Mama.! Linda, Jamie-Lynn, Richard, John, Nick and Pops and all the extended Chetta family. I love you all dearly. Alice was everyone's mom.........I don't think there was anyone who she didn't treat as her own. She made you feel comfortable and at home anytime you were around her.....especially if you were around the house for Sunday dinner. She wouldn't think twice of having you come in and set another place at the table.....and you were part of the family............that was Alice.....that was the Chetta way.
To all the Chetta family and all the family friends that I've met and come to love over the years...........you are all in my heart and I mourn with you....Alice will be missed and she will always have a place in my heart.
