Berdella did soo much with so little and her tenacity and forthrightness won the day. She would have been appreciated anywhere.

I was so sad to see in The Norwalk Hour of Berdella's passing. I cannot say how much I loved Berdella. She worked for me at Family & Children's Agency in the late 1990's in our RAP Program which helped residents of Norwalk Public Housing to obtain support in their struggles. Berdella was a caring, hardworking woman who was a wonderful friend. I will never forget her dedication to others. Her spirit will be with me always. God Bless you Berdella and my condolences to your family
