Charles William Falzone

     Charles W. Falzone, Sr., age 88, died suddenly at his home on Friday, May 22.  He was the loving husband of Anita Pugliuso Falzone, who survives him.  Charles was born on November 17, 1926 in Waltham, MA, the son of the late Carmello and Salvatrice “Tillie” Galluzzo Falzone and has lived locally for most of his life.  He was working at Buck Scientific where he was in charge of the purchasing department.  Charles served his country during WW II in the Army Air Corps.  He was an avid reader, liked to shop and loved spending as much time as he could with his family.

     In addition to his loving wife, Anita, survivors include a son, Paul Falzone and his wife Julie of Norwalk, daughters Christine Bach and her husband Bill of San DIamas, CA, Debbie Shea and her husband Dennis of Monroe and Maryellen Mangone and her husband Tony of Ridgefield, 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and several nieces and nephews.  Charles was also predeceased by two sons David A. and Charles W. Falzone, Jr.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, May 27at St. Philip Church,  with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: St. Philip Church, 1 Fr Conlin Pl, Norwalk,CT 06850.
