Danny and Judy were our 'other parents', and not enough can be said regarding how much Amaro, Damon, and I loved them both. They were far more than next door neighbors to us. Over the years we all visited when we made it back to Norwalk. Danny, like Judy, will be missed greatly. He was a standard for every man who would be a husband, father, brother, friend, neighbor, parishioner. All of his family and friends can be proud to have been part of his life and he a part of theirs. Our love and our hearts are with all of you who love Danny. Find joy in your remembrances.

I'm sure it's all been said. Still, I'd have to remark upon the genuine integrity of this man. I was so saddened to hear of his passing. He and Judy were our "second parents" at times when we were kids, as both of our parents worked. They were always ready to take a child who needed parents, taking in newborns on a regular basis. The Woods' home was always a regular visit when we trekked back to Norwalk. It was such a shock on the last visit to find others living in that house, removing all the wonderfully crafted decor. Danny was an even tempered, jovial, and honest man. His mortality may have removed him from our presence... but not from our hearts!
