Frankie L. (Suddarth) Shimko

Frankie L. Shimko, 78, died on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at home in Norwalk.  Born in Phoenix she was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in Stamford. Frankie is survived by her mother Margaret A. Suddarth, sister Katherine M. Deamer, husband Steven Shimko, son Steven M. Shimko and niece Christine M.  Ball, as well as extended family, aunts, cousins and in-laws. She worked in numerous clerical positions until her retirement 16 years ago. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten. “Hoka Hey…It’s a good day to die”

Frankie’s family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 – 8 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM on Friday, August 7, at St. Joseph Church, 85 S. Main St. Norwalk. Burial to be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation
