To Ellen and the family:
Jim was a special gift to this world, and even more so to you. I am sorry for your loss. He was taken far too soon.

Ellen, I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I always looked forward to working Thursdays when he & the others would come to Swanky Franks. He was a wonderful person.

To the family, we are so sorry to hear of your loss. May you take comfort in God's loyal Word. "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4) With deep sympathy may you look forward to this beautiful hope.

Dearest Ellen and family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I just heard the news today.
I'm sorry I didn" get to know Jim better, I only saw him a few times.
The last time I saw him he was at Lunch & Learn, at NCC. He seemed like a great guy.
I kept meaning to visit, but someting alwas came up, latley my doctors seem to own me.
Ellen, I know of the sadness you feel, but take heart in knowing the closness and love the two of you had for each other, you did all you could for him and were a blessing to him, his loving Angel.
He will always be with you in yor loveing memories.
Jim is at peace now, may God bless and keep you in his loving care.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and his family.
Much Love, Virge

I enjoyed Jim the first time I met him at the Norwalk Historical Society in 2011, where he shared with me his interest in the Civil War. And at his home, where he showed me his autographed photo of Frank Gifford. You were quite a guy Jim.

I only knew James for a short time but we made a special bond in the few days at Hospice. My uncle Charlie and James were roommates and departed together. The Lord has two great men with him. I am so sorry for your loss.
