June Odette King

June Odette King, age 91 of Norwalk, wife of the late Burton Osborne King passed away in her home on Monday September 21, 2015. June was born in New York on July 30, 1924 daughter of the late William Holmes Christian Ulrich and Mollie (Motto) Ulrich.

June was an alumna of Northfield School and graduated from Rutgers University. She was a long time member of the First Congregational Church on the Green, and was a Betas member most of that time. For 28 years, June volunteered with the AARP Tax Counseling for the Elderly program.  

June is survived by 2 daughters, Dawn Odette King Sturges and Cheryl Robin Hopp, 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 2 PM at the 1st Congregational Church on The Green. Calling hours will be private, burial will take place at a later date.
