As you begin to process the passing of a dear friend, companion, lover and husband one is hit with feelings of solitude, loneliness and grief, but those feelings will subside and as in all things time heals all wounds. You will undoubtedly begin to remember all the best of times and joys you shared in your life together. These memories are the bonds that will make you grow stronger and stronger in your conviction and will to be a surviving legacy of who Michael was in life. It is like Jesus said in his parable: "A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but when she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for the joy that a man is born into the world." So to will you remember only the best of times you and Michael have shared together, when your travail and sorrow slowly subsides over time. God Bless and my husband (John) and I pray for you and Michael.

weekend of Mike's unexpected death. He along with yourself had just recently
helped give out communion at OLOL as you do every summer. We will have a Mass
celebrated in his memory on Sunday, August 14th at the 10 AM Mass. Please be
assured of the prayers and sympathy extended to you and your family by your summer parish community here in Wellfleet.
