I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one. May God almighty father of tender mercies and all comfort continue to comfort you all (2 Corinthians 1: 3, 4). Please know that God has promised to completely remove death, tears, mourning, outcry and pain (Revelation 21:4). Indeed we all eagerly anticipate the fulfillment of these promise. The Bible also provides assurance of a real hope of reuniting with our dead loved ones in the coming new world (John 5: 28, 29). At a time like this the Bible is a true source of comfort and you can read it online and also learn further about God's purposes at www.jw.org

I lit a candle earlier because I did not know how to respond to your grief. It has been a very long time since I have seen or even talked with all of the family, but my thoughts and prayers are with you, and have been for years.
Thank you, Uncle Bill for your service to all of us with the US Navy. It has always made me very proud of my "Uncle Bill." You kept us all safe from harm.
I needed time to reflect but I am void of words, so :
I wrote a poem in Loving Memory of my "Uncle Bill."

An angel came from heaven
To help somebody rest
How was anyone to know
The Lord would take the best

He came from a good family
Lived like a good soul should
He laughed, joked and made us smile
Helped everyone he could

He only left good memories
To everyone I know
Worked hard for everything he had
And had a lot to show

To see his love sine on his face
Both to the young and old
Sincerity always in his smile
Always warm, and never cold

Uncle Bill was always close to God
Never taking, always giving
Maybe God thought him too good
To suffer with the living

He has left us now, and with only
Good thoughts, he did depart
On January 29th, when the Lord took him, it broke everybody's heart.

Your loving niece,
Karen
