Patricia L. (Lynch) Spinola

Patricia L. Spinola, 72, of Norwalk, Connecticut, wife of Patrick J. Spinola Sr., died suddenly at home Saturday.  Born in West New York, New Jersey on April 20, 1944, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Valerie R. Lynch of Norwalk, Ct.  Patricia moved to Norwalk with her family in 1960, finishing her High School education at NHS in 1962.  She graduated from Central Connecticut State College with a Bachelor and Master’s degree in teaching in 1967.
Prior to her retirement in 2007, Mrs. Spinola was a school teacher for 26 years, serving her last 16 years at Jefferson Elementary School as a third grade teacher.  Since her retirement Patty did volunteer work at the Norwalk Hospital and at its’ Treasure House at 5 Isaac St. in Norwalk.
Mrs. Spinola is survived by two sons, Patrick “Jay” Spinola Jr. and his wife Kristina, of Rye, New York, and John S. Spinola of Norwalk; two brothers, James M. Lynch of Norwalk and Robert B. Lynch of Southington, Ct., and two wonderful grandchildren, Alex and Marc Spinola that she loved so very, very much.  She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.  She was pre-deceased by a brother John J. Lynch of Columbus, Ohio.
Calling hours will be at Magner Funeral Home, Tuesday, October 25, 2016, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.; followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip Church, 1 Father Conlon Place, Norwalk, Ct.  Interment will be private.
