Rose M. (Avallone) Rossi

Rose M. Rossi, lifelong resident of Norwalk, died Friday, January 12, 2018 at Notre Dame Health and Rehabilitation Center, Norwalk. She was the wife of the late John P. Rossi for 60 years. Rose was a great cook and enjoyed family gatherings. She is survived by her son and daughter; Vincent Rossi and his wife Candy and Maryann Barrese and her husband Ronald and a grandson John Rossi, all of Norwalk, as well as a brother John Avallone of Spring Hill, FL.  She was predeceased by her siblings; Mildred Vertula, Velma Daskam, Clara Feledie, James Avallone and Orlando Avallone.

   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday 10:30AM in the chapel at Notre Dame Health and Rehab, Norwalk . Her family will receive friends at the chapel an hour prior to Mass. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery.  Her family sends special thanks to the staff of Notre Dame and Constellation Hospice for their loving care during this difficult time.
