Wesley Owen McPherson
Wesley Owen McPherson, age 37 was born in New Haven, CT on December 27, 1976. He departed this life on Saturday, November 1, 2014 in Hartford, CT. He was the son of Pauline McNair McPherson and the late Johnson McPherson, Jr. Wesley attended Norwalk Public Schools and graduated from Norwalk High School. He received his bachelor degree in Art from Hampton University in Virgina. Wesley was employed as a Talent Acquisition Manager by The Dannon Group in White Plains, NY. He was a fourth degree black belt in Martial Arts. He was a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He was a Master Mason of the Dorie Lodge #4 Prince Hall Free & Accepted Masons of Bridgeport, CT.
He is survived by his mother Pauline McNair McPherson, a brother Johnson McPherson II, a sister-in-law Tammy Grimes-McPherson, two nephews, Ashante and Donyae McPherson and two godchildren, Greg Worthy and Tianna Barr and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at The First Congregational Church on the Green, Park Street and Lewis Street, Norwalk, on Saturday November 8, 2014 at 9:00 AM. Calling hours will be held from 8:00 AM until the time of services. Funeral services are in the care of The Magner Funeral Home, Norwalk, CT. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Avenue, Norwalk, CT.
